Qatari humanitarian aid arrives in Nepal to support flood victims

A Qatari Armed Forces aircraft has arrived in the Republic of Nepal carrying urgent humanitarian aid for people affected by devastating floods in the country.

The assistance was provided by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) as part of Qatar’s continued efforts to support relief operations and strengthen international solidarity during disasters and humanitarian crises.

Aid to Support Around 52,000 People

The Qatari aid is expected to benefit approximately 52,000 people affected by the floods.

The relief supplies include essential equipment and materials such as:

Water extraction and pumping equipment
Lighting equipment
Food supplies
Multipurpose tents

The supplies are intended to help families and children meet their basic humanitarian needs, particularly in areas where access to clean water and essential services has been disrupted.

Qatar’s Search and Rescue Team Joins Relief Efforts

The Qatari International Search and Rescue Group, affiliated with the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), is participating in the delivery of humanitarian assistance to affected areas.

The team is also supporting relief operations on the ground and helping address the urgent needs of communities impacted by the floods.
